Up to $8,000 is available for first time home buyers. You can get a credit of 10% of the purchase price of a home. Now, if you’re purchasing a duplex to live in one half, you can take advantage of the credit against 1/2 of the purchase price.

Daytona Beach Homes - Multi-Family Options for Home Buyers

Most multi-family homes in the area include duplexes and triplexes. There are larger units, but those are really apartments. Ormond Beach duplexes include some very nice units very close to beach. It’s hard to find a better value.
